Since we were one of the first NW Calgary chiropractor clinics to offer this procedure, the price per treatment was normally set by the manufacturer. However, those fees are only a suggested guideline. Due to the large volume of patients that we see in our clinic, we would rather help more people than make a few extra bucks.
A specific treatment can take anywhere from five to 15 minutes, depending on the location and severity of a patient’s condition. Positive benefits are often seen following the first treatment. The assessment would provide a more patient-specific estimate of the number of treatments required to gain the best results.
Generally, ART is not painful. However, comfort levels vary with each individual. At times ART can be described as mildly uncomfortable, but the therapeutic benefits easily outweigh any tenderness felt during treatment.
Yes, we often combine treatments for greater effect. We can combine any treatment such as chiropractic, shockwave, and active release, all at a discounted price.
The patient portion can be fully covered by extended insurance available through some policies. We recommend contacting your extended insurance company to confirm the details of your policy.
Please note that we do not bill secondary insurance companies on your behalf, but we would be happy to assist you with your individual insurance forms.
